Founded in 2025, Silk Hearts is the creative studio of Siobhan O’Keeffe and Sophie West, specialising in bespoke bridal wear. Siobhan and Sophie’s talents beautifully complement each other, resulting in delicately dreamy designs.

The friends first met while studying for their master’s at The Royal College of Art in 2013. Alongside several years in the luxury fashion industry, the pair share a love for design and for creating beautiful pieces.

Born in Suffolk, Siobhan gathered an in-depth knowledge of couture sewing skills from a childhood spent sewing with her grandma and great-grandma, both skilled dressmakers and inspirational women. Following her master’s, Siobhan directed her attention to couture pattern cutting, creating garments with a meticulous consideration to fit. Siobhan has taken the skills passed down to her by generations and paved a career dedicated to those wonderful women.

With a background in print, Sophie takes her inspiration from a childhood surrounded by antiques and art, of which her father is a collector. Time spent looking at such beautiful creations, resulted in an innate understanding of artistry. After initially specialising in the art of screen printing at Central Saint Martins, Sophie continued her creative journey by studying embroidery at a couture house in Paris: both skills have enabled her to bring her designs to life.

Silk hearts take inspiration from different cultures, traditions and craftsmanship. Born from sketches and drawings, every piece is an original work of art. Using nature’s influence to tell stories and depict emotions, each veil combines exquisite artwork and intricate embroidery; redefining modern bridalwear.
